HALOS Meets: The 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of the Month From 6:30 to 8:00 pm 2nd Wednesday: Zoom Virtual Group (Link emailed out the morning of the group) 4th Wednesday: In-Person Meeting in Lutz REGISTER The death of a significant person by suicide is often shocking, painful, and unexpected. The grief that ensues can be intense, complex, and long-term. Time heals all wounds is not necessarily true for survivors of suicide. Time is necessary for healing but it is not enough. Shared feelings lead to growth and healing. Survivors of suicide support groups are helpful to survivors to express their feelings, tell their story, and share with others who have experienced a similar event. Suncoast Kids Place offers a support group for adults that have experienced the death of a significant person to suicide, regardless of when the death occurred. This is one of the few groups in the area. A safe place to go where others understand your pain; where you can receive hope and healing. (HALOS support group is for adults 18 years and older)

Registration Required: https://bayhope.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/2689350 A Walk to Remember our loved ones who have passed away. What can you expect? We will share a meal, create posters of our loved ones, walk around the lake together, and experience a time of scripture and prayer concluding with a butterfly release.  All ages are welcome. Upon registration, you will receive more helpful, detailed information.  Count on a memorable evening with others who are walking their grief journey.  Bay Hope Cares invites families from Suncoast Kids Place to join us.  We apologize in advance - last-minute registrations may not have a meal as our meal count will be finalized on May 13. In the event of rain, we will hold the Walk to Remember at Bay Hope Church, Lakeshore Campus.
