The "NO BOOTS TOUR" marks the final phase of the GOBA tour series for The New American Home® 2026, hosted by Alair Homes Orlando in partnership with the CHRC.  This tour will give attendees an exclusive first look at the fully completed and furnished home before its national debut at the 2026 International Builders’ Show. The "NO BOOTS TOUR" will highlight the finished architecture, interiors, landscape, and integrated technologies that define this year’s showcase home. There will be no more than one elected Director from any member firm; The Immediate Past President, the Immediate Past Associate Vice President; Four appointments by the current President, consisting of 2 Builder Members and 2 Associate Member; Two Past Presidents and one Past Associate Vice Presidents shall be annually appointed by the majority vote of the Past Presidents and Past Associate Vice Presidents, respectively: Four Voting Life Directors, consisting of 2 Builder Members and 2 Associate Members; Osceola County member or member at large. Elected officers of the Association. All members are encouraged to attend these meetings, but may not participate in discussions or vote. Also, Board pre-meetings provide a great opportunity to get to know your Board members and voice your concerns. For The 2026 New American Remodel, Phil Kean has chosen a “soft remodel” approach for a 3,341-square-foot home in Winter Park, FL.   Originally built in the 1950s, the residence underwent multiple renovations in different styles over the decades, resulting in a fragmented character. “We’re not removing a lot of walls or doing a big addition. This is a strategic remodel, and not every room needs to be addressed. We’re just making the house cohesive and architecturally significant,” said Kean. Kean describes the home’s new aesthetic as having a “1940s Miami” flair with a touch of historical charm.
