EVENT IS FULL. REGISTRATION CLOSED.  Event Description: Life and leadership both come in waves. Some seasons feel steady, while others ask us to stretch, adapt, and trust ourselves in new ways. Women leaders know how to ride the waves - but even the strongest leaders benefit from fresh perspective in changing seasons. Presented by the Women’s Alliance of GOBA, Alicia Culp’s one-hour program, Surf the Surge, will inspire participants to embrace change as an opportunity for growth, confidence, and greater influence.  Through meaningful reflection and practical insight, participants will discover how small, intentional choices can improve mindset, strengthen communication, and create forward momentum during times of transition. Participants will leave feeling encouraged, equipped, and ready for the next wave.   About the Speaker: Alicia Culp helps leaders and teams move through change with calm, clarity, and energizing momentum. She is known for shifting the energy in the room so honest conversations happen, decisions get clearer, and progress becomes sustainable. A former COO of AXIS Data Solutions, Alicia helped lead the organization through a high-growth chapter and successful sale. Today, she draws on more than 25 years of leadership experience and nearly a decade of coaching and facilitation. Her experience spans healthcare, nonprofit, government, and private business sectors, with a focus on stronger team alignment and leadership effectiveness. Alicia was a founding board member of Victory Cup Initiative, serving for seven years and later as Board Chair, and has also served on the board of IMPOWER FL. Alicia enjoys reading, time in nature, and active involvement in the Central Florida community. The Board of Directors is composed as follows: 11 Directors elected from and by the attending membership at its annual meeting in October, consisting of 5 Builder Members Directors and 6 Associate Member Directors. There will be no more than one elected Director from any member firm; The Immediate Past President, the Immediate Past Associate Vice President; Four appointments by the current President, consisting of 2 Builder Members and 2 Associate Member; Two Past Presidents and one Past Associate Vice Presidents shall be annually appointed by the majority vote of the Past Presidents and Past Associate Vice Presidents, respectively: Four Voting Life Directors, consisting of 2 Builder Members and 2 Associate Members; Osceola County member or member at large. Elected officers of the Association. All members are encouraged to attend these meetings, but may not participate in discussions or vote.
