On the second Sunday of every month, TCM offers a sensory friendly experience for children with disabilities or have sensory considerations. Explore the Museum in a sensory modified and supportive setting with limited admission, lowered sound stimulation and soft lighting. The goal is to provide your child with the opportunity to engage in social interactions and improve the processing, modulation and regulation of sensory input, allowing restricted access for children and families in a safe nurturing environment. You will also foster new relationships with families, making lasting connections and friendships! Admission to Sensory Friendly Sunday is $1. No registration required at this time, if capacity is full, Museum will close entry until capacity falls below its max threshold of 75 guests. Pre-registration may be implemented if monthly capacity rises. Multi-Sensory Access Programming made possible in part by Evie & Steve Klaassen- Colorado Pawn & Jewelry. To honor those who have served, the United States Sailing Center – Martin County (USSCMC) will offer complimentary sailboat rides for veterans and their guests on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. A knowledgeable Skipper will be providing tours on the water on the scenic Indian River Lagoon. The USSCMC, a nonprofit organization located in Jensen Beach, Florida, is situated inside Indian Riverside Park. Life jackets will be provided for all participants.   Veterans are encouraged to call the Sailing Center at 772-334-8085 to reserve a time slot. A complimentary lunch will also be served.    The United States Sailing Center – Martin County (USSCMC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the sport of sailing for youth, adults, and veterans in a safe, educational, and enjoyable environment. Located in Jensen Beach, Florida, inside Indian Riverside Park along the scenic Indian River Lagoon, the Center offers sailing lessons, community outreach programs, and special events.   USSCMC provides access to a wide range of sailboats and equipment, along with experienced instructors, making sailing accessible to beginners and advanced sailors alike. The Center emphasizes safety, teamwork, and skill development while fostering a love for the water and the sport of sailing.   As a community-focused nonprofit, USSCMC also hosts outreach programs for veterans, children, and other groups, helping build confidence and creating memorable experiences on the water.
