Join us for an immersive and engaging Day at the Capitol, where participants will gain a firsthand understanding of the legislative process and the importance of advocacy. This program provides an opportunity to connect with state legislators, learn about key issues affecting our community and industries, and explore how policy decisions are made. We will have the opportunity to have lunch at the Capitol with members of our delegation. Please note, this is a joint event with the Leadership Fayette Class of 2026.

2026 Fayette Economic Development Summit Presented by Trilith Live Fayette County, GA continues to grow and evolve as evidenced by our recent economic development successes like Trilith Studios, the town of Trilith, and QTS Datacenters to name a few. Although we have numerous assets, we know that there are challenges that threaten our future success and prosperity. Consequently, the Fayette Chamber, the Fayette County Development Authority, and our local governments will host a Fayette Economic Development Summit on Thursday, February 12.

We are excited to announce that our Fayette County Public Schools system is participating in the Georgia Foundation for Public Education PEACH Education Tax Credit! Georgia's PEACH Education Tax Credit  – previously known as the Qualified Education Donation tax credit – offers an exciting opportunity to advance public education and foster excellence for students across Georgia.    Individuals and corporations can support Fayette County's K-12 public education students at no additional cost to them by securing a PEACH Education Tax Credit. Contributing to the PEACH Education Tax Credit provides taxpayers with a dollar-for-dollar tax credit on your Georgia state income taxes, meaning you are able to apply your tax dollars to support innovation in Fayette County Public Schools.    Individuals may designate funds for one of three categories: 1- leadership training for students  2- grants and continuing education scholarships for teachers in Fayette County Public Schools 3- where funds are most needed   For more specific information and to apply for the tax credit, click here. If you have any questions, please email [email protected].     Lunch will be provided.
