Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) is excited to announce the launch of the “Meet the Interim Superintendent” Listening Tour Series, a collaborative effort between the Clayton County Board of Education and Interim Superintendent/CEO of Schools Dr. Douglas Hendrix Sr.   This districtwide engagement initiative invites students, families, staff, and community stakeholders to share their ideas, perspectives, and priorities regarding the future of CCPS. Through this collaboration, the Board and Interim Superintendent Hendrix aim to foster open dialogue, strengthen community connections, and ensure that stakeholders have an opportunity to have their voices heard as the district continues its commitment to serving all students. Additionally, Interim Superintendent Hendrix will share how the school system will continue to advance our promise of building a better tomorrow, today.    Your voice matters, and CCPS encourages broad participation in this meaningful opportunity to engage directly with district leadership. Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) is excited to announce Clayton County Board of Education member Dr. Jessie Goree's (District 3) Fifth Annual K-12 Girls Conference at the CCPS Performing Arts Center, located at 2530 Mt. Zion Parkway in Jonesboro, Georgia. The conference will take place Tuesday, March 31, 2026 beginning at 9:00 a.m. The audience will consist of pre-selected students.   As part of our celebration of Women's History Month, this event holds special significance to our school district as it aims to empower and inspire the young girls in our community. The conference will feature insightful talks and engaging activities designed to foster confidence, leadership skills, and personal growth among attendees. We are honored to announce that Ms. Cierra Fly Bobo, author of "8Things Every Girl Needs to Thrive in Life", will serve as our Keynote Speaker. The conference will also feature other dynamic speakers.
