We're traveling to Australia with the Didgeridoo Down Under Show! This program is an energetic fusion of Australian music, culture, art, science, comedy, character building and audience participation. The didgeridoo has been played by Aboriginal Australians for at least 1,500 years, and is known for its otherworldly sound. This program will be very participatory, and several segments involve kids playing instruments, dancing, or acting out a story. We selected this book in conjunction with the America 250 celebration as it offers a fascinating look at the life, leadership, and enduring impact of George Washington. Through a modern-day journey following Washington’s travels across the young nation, Philbrick explores the history, challenges, and ideals that helped shape America.
