The Bulloch County Board of Education will meet for its scheduled regular session on Thursday, May 8, at 6:30 p.m., in the boardroom of the school district's Central Office, located at 150 Williams Road in Statesboro. The agenda will include discussions about the Fiscal Year 2026 Budget. The full agenda will be posted 24 hours prior to the meeting.

The Bulloch County Board of Education will meet for its scheduled work session on Thursday, May 29, at 6:30 p.m., in the boardroom of the school district's Central Office, located at 150 Williams Road, in Statesboro. This will be the final meeting in which the Board discusses aspects of the Fiscal Year 2026 Budget. During the month of June, the superintendent will ask the Board to tentatively adopt a budget, which will be advertised to the public, and a final budget is expected to be voted on at the June work session. A final budget must be adopted by June 30, in preparation for the new fiscal year which begins July 1.

Come cheer with all of our local high schools in Bulloch County at the annual Downtown Pep Rally on Friday, August 1, from 5:30 - 8 p.m., on the Bulloch County Courthouse Square. Wear your spirit gear and get ready to cheer on your favorite football and flag football teams, cheerleaders, mascots, and marching bands.  It's a great way to kick off the new school year and celebrate fall sports.
