Deadline: Please submit the interest form by Tuesday, October 28, 2025. Kuna High School is excited to announce a unique opportunity for our students — the U.S. Navy Strike Group Experience will be on campus Wednesday, November 5, 2025. This immersive event is designed to help students explore STEM-focused careers through virtual reality, interactive missions, and hands-on challenges, connecting what they learn in school to real-world technology and teamwork. Students will experience what it’s like to work in fields such as engineering, aviation, medicine, and special operations—and will walk away with new insights, badges, and a Navy dog tag as they complete each station. Event Details Date: Wednesday, November 5, 2025 Time: 7:30 AM – 3:15 PM Location: Kuna High School What Students Can Expect Recruiter Station: Meet Navy recruiters, learn about Navy life, and try the Pull-Up Challenge. DIVE Challenge: Drive a boat and perform an underwater welding repair in a VR mission. ACHIEVE Experience: Take a career and personality quiz, explore Navy roles, and receive an AI-generated photo of yourself in uniform. ALL HANDS Virtual Reality Experience: Join a five-person VR mission aboard the USS Gerald R. Ford to launch an F-35C jet. Dive Photo Station: Snap a photo in a real Navy dive suit and learn about underwater careers. Participation and Registration Details Students must first complete the Interest Form below. This form does not register them for the event but ensures they’ll receive the official registration link by email once interest is collected. After receiving the registration email, students must complete registration, select a time slot (approximately 60 students per hour), and bring their QR code to the event. Event hours: The Strike Group will be on campus from 7:30 AM – 3:15 PM for Kuna High School students. Each student will be excused from class for the 1-hour session they sign up for during registration. Check-in and check-out will be with Ms. Bauer at the event. Students under 18 will need parent permission during registration. Parents may opt in for recruiters to speak directly with their student. Parents may opt out of marketing emails. Note: All families will receive one follow-up email after the event with their student’s photo.
