Join us for the 22nd annual Veterans Breakfast on Saturday, November 1st from 8am to 12pm. Salute our Veterans at the Warhawk Air Museum over a hearty breakfast and pay tribute to those who answered the call. This event is for everyone! Cost of entrance and breakfast is only $5 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Kids 5 and under are free with a paid adult. General admission prices for Museum admission apply when the event is over. The Kilroy Coffee Klatch was started by a handful of Veterans looking for a place to share coffee, donuts, and stories with other Veterans. Since then Kilroy has grown into the largest monthly gathering of Veterans in Idaho!  Our Kilroy Coffee Klatch meets the first Tuesday of every month at 10 a.m. and is FREE to any and all veterans! The general public is also welcome regular admission charges will apply. Coffee and doughnuts will be served. No RSVP required. We hope you will join us! Mitzi will be introducing us to groups doing incredible work in our community offering resources for veterans that you might not know about! REMINDER!Kilroy Coffee Klatch will be in the new Global War on Terror hangar! The parking lot closest to the GWOT building will be reserved for handicap parking. There will be a golf cart on hand to help shuttle people as needed. You can enter through the main door and walk down to the GWOT hangar, or use the side gate entrance marked on the map. Ages 12-16 Come join us at the museum to build the venerable P-40 Warhawk scale model. Learn about the history of the P-40 and basics of scale modeling as you build a detailed model of our namesake and one of the most famous WWII aircraft that won the hearts of the Allies. Learn techniques that will be the basis for your continued adventures into scale modeling – all taught by veterans with over 30 years of model experience! In this supervised workshop you will build a plastic scale model learning proper techniques using specialized tools. Once built, you will paint the model in historical colors and apply decals. All supplies are provided – including admission to the Museum! The cost of this workshop is $25. Limit to 20 participants. All participants are encouraged to bring their own sack lunch. Refrigeration and microwaves are available.
