Join us this Memorial Day for a day of reflection as we honor those who have lost their lives serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.The Warhawk Air Museum will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is only $5 for all guests over the age of 5. Food and drink vendors will be available. Weather permitting, warbirds will fly over the museum and select locations throughout the area in tribute to those we have lost. * Flying is weather-dependent, and changes will be announced via our Facebook page. Flyover location times are approximate. The Kilroy Coffee Klatch was started by a handful of Veterans looking for a place to share coffee, donuts, and stories with other Veterans. Since then Kilroy has grown into the largest monthly gathering of Veterans in Idaho!  Our Kilroy Coffee Klatch meets the first Tuesday of every month at 10 a.m. and is FREE to any and all veterans! Get ready for four exciting days of history, aviation, and space exploration at the Warhawk Air Museum Summer Camp! Designed for students ages 12–16, this hands-on camp will immerse participants in the rich stories represented throughout the museum’s incredible collection of aircraft, vehicles, and artifacts. Campers will discover the heroes, innovation, and history behind the machines that helped shape the world. The week will include leadership, orienteering, military in warfare, opportunities in the military, and conclude with an unforgettable live Zoom call with Fred Haise, one of only 24 Apollo astronauts to reach the Moon. As Lunar Module Pilot on Apollo 13, he was meant to become the sixth person to walk on the Moon before the mission was aborted en route. He is the last surviving crew member of Apollo 13 and the last surviving Apollo astronaut to reach the Moon without landing.
