The Antioch Public Library District Board of Trustees meets on the last Tuesday of every month unless otherwise noted. The public is welcome to attend these meetings. Meetings are held in the Kakacek Room on the lower level of the Library.

A little socialization, a lot of books, none of the pressure.The Silent Book Club is a book club for people who want to socialize a bit and talk about the books they're reading, without the rules or pressure of a regular book club.Bring whatever you are currently reading, (all formats are welcome!) on the second Wednesday of each month to the quiet reading room, to have some snacks, talk about what we're reading, and then settle in for a nice quiet read.Registration is not required.Please contact Kat at [email protected] with any questions.

This event is perfect for anyone who is interested in PokĂŠmon but don't yet know the rules of the card game. Kids, teens, and adults are all welcome!We do recommend a basic reading level for children so that they can read the cards.

Complete the return slip when you return your book so we can refine our future selections for you. You will be sent an email when your kit is ready and you will have one week to pick it up. The kit will also contain a few bookish surprises along with a snack or two to enjoy while you read. The book must be returned to the library with the feedback slip but everything else is yours to keep.
