Pursuant to School Board Policy 2:150, the Board of Education may establish committees to assist with the Board's governance function and, in some situations, to comply with state law requirements. Each committee reports directly to the Board of Education. Committee members may include both Board Members and non-Board Members depending on the committee's purpose. Committee appointments are made at the organization meeting of the Board that is held following the consolidated election in April of odd-numbered years. Committee meetings are typically held once per month.  The purpose of the Facilities Committee is to review facility work across the district, provide guidance on strategic facility initiatives, and ensure community involvement in the district's facilities processes.

There will be four Half Day School Improvement Days for students throughout the school year. This will provide staff with more opportunities to review student data, plan instruction, and engage in professional development. The four Half Day School Improvement Days for the 2026-27 school year will fall on  Sep. 30, Feb. 3, March 18, and April 7 . Below are the hours for a half-day.  * Elementary Day:  8 am-11:15 am* Middle School Day:  8:52 am-12:07 pm* High School & BTP Day:  8:30 am-11:45 am *Please note, there is no school for the Barrington Early Learning Center on this day.

Pursuant to School Board Policy 2:150, the Board of Education may establish committees to assist with the Board's governance function and, in some situations, to comply with state law requirements. Each committee reports directly to the Board of Education. Committee members may include both Board Members and non-Board Members depending on the committee's purpose.
