Dear parents and guardians District 300 would like to provide a reminder that Wednesday March 4 2026 is a regularly scheduled Late Start date.On the March 4 Late Start date school times are as follows:All elementary schools will run from 10 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.All middle schools will run from 10:55 a.m. to 3:40 p.m.All high schools will run from 9:30 a.m. to 2:58 p.m.Oak Ridge School will run from 9:45 a.m. to 1:40 p.m.Westfield Community School for grades K-5 will run from 10 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.Westfield Community School for grades 6-8 will run from 10:55 a.m. to 3:40 p.m.In addition: March 4 will be a non-attendance date for preschool students.Bus pick-up times will be delayed by two hours.If your student(s) are enrolled in Late Start childcare please drop off your student(s) no earlier than 8 a.m. for K-5 and 8:55 a.m. for sixth graders.Elementary schools will be running a modified specials schedule on Late Start days Late Start days are non-letter days and the modified specials schedule will be shared with you from your student's school.Students participating in extracurricular activities will receive schedule information as needed from their coach director sponsor etc.To view a complete list of Late Start school bell times and a calendar of additional dates please click here.To view middle school bell schedules on Late Start days please click here.To view high school bell schedules on Late Start days please click here.And finally for students enrolled in Education Services programs:Students who attend outplaced facilities will attend school as normal.300 P.L.U.S. students at Elgin Community College should arrive at 10 a.m.Thank you.
