The Annual Library Crawl is a unique event organized by the public libraries of IHLS as a fun way to introduce community members to the many great resources available to them with their library cards.  Get to know neighboring libraries and explore the rich communities of central and southern Illinois as you visit multiple destinations throughout the crawl and get a passport stamp for each library you visit!

Paperback books, children’s books, music CDs, and vinyl records are 50¢. There also is a large selection of sale books for 25¢. For easier shopping, the books are sorted into categories such as Mystery, Romance, Sci-fi/Fantasy, Hobbies & Crafts, History, Inspiration, Biography, Cookbooks, Sports, Gardening, Classics, and Children’s books.

Rotary Room In Coles County, an estimated 71,000 people have unclaimed cash or property held by the treasurer’s office. The value exceeds $9,200,000.00. Statewide, Frerichs’ secures more than $5 billion in unclaimed cash and property. Illinois State Treasurer Michael Frerichs’ staff will be at the Library to help reunite citizens with missing money property through the I-Cash program.
