Have you ever wanted to design your own video game? Join us for a fun, hands-on program where kids will learn how to create an interactive video game using Scratch, a beginner-friendly coding platform developed by MIT. In partnership with Televisa Foundation, participants will explore the basics of coding by designing characters, building game levels, adding sound effects and creating simple animations—all through drag-and-drop blocks. No prior coding experience is needed! This program encourages creativity, problem-solving and logical thinking while introducing kids to the fundamentals of computer programming in an engaging and accessible way. By the end of the session, each participant will have their own playable game to share with family and friends. What Kids Will Learn: Basic coding concepts such as sequences, loops, and events Game design fundamentals (characters, goals, and challenges) Creative storytelling through interactive media Collaboration and critical thinking skills Perfect for curious minds who love games, art, and technology!
