The Empowerment Club is a new club formed to create ways in which the school can recognize and empower the diverse members of our student body. The club welcomes and invites all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students to take part as members. Club members will come up with ideas that will focus on cultural, historical, and/or celebratory months such as Hispanic Heritage Month, Black History Month, Women’s History Month, Arab American Heritage Month, Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, as well as others. Club information and applications are in the bins by the office or in Mrs. Maxwell's room, number 227.

The purpose of the CRMS After School Bilingual Tutoring is to provide a quietenvironment for students who need a place to complete their assignments, access tothe internet, or extra time to keep up with their work. Sometimes teachers andparents/guardians may decide that attending Bilingual Tutoring may be a positive tool inhelping a student become successful. All students attending the after-school BilingualTutoring must come prepared to work. Students who are disruptive and/or not workingwill be given a warning; any student who continues in this manner will be asked toleave. Repeated offenses will result in the student not being allowed to attend BilingualTutoring, and parent (s)/guardian(s) will be contacted. By adhering to this policy,Bilingual Tutoring will maintain an atmosphere where students can be most productive.We will provide snacks for all students who attend bilingual tutoring and a Busfor those students who qualify for this service.Students attending the After Bilingual Tutoring must have a signed permission sheet.Unless under a teacher and parent contract, students do not have to participate everyday but are welcome to do so if they would like.If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email:Mrs. Bello ([email protected])
