Moderated by the Small Business Advocacy Council (SBAC), this program offers members and local business leaders the opportunity to hear a recap of the recent legislative session, learn about new laws and policy developments, and engage directly with elected officials on issues impacting the business community. Beginning on April 28, 2016, a monthly Parkinson’s Support Group will be offered at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital.  These meetings are free of charge. Individuals with Parkinson’s disease, their families, and their caregivers are encouraged to attend.  The purpose of the meetings is to provide medical information and to share experiences. ECCI will stage its 36th Annual New Teachers Luncheon in the Commons at York Community High School (355 West St. Charles Road) on Wednesday, August 5, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in conjunction with Elmhurst Community Unit School District 205's New Educator Academy.  $40 | Includes lunch, networking, opportunity to welcome new educators!  All members are welcome to donate items to a Gift Bag to be given to each of the estimated 60 new teachers.
