The event, taking place from 5:30 – 9:30 p.m. at the Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton, will honor the DuPage Foundation for its outstanding contributions to the county and its 25-year partnership with Metropolitan Family Services DuPage, which shares its commitment to transforming communities. Join DuPagePads at this thrilling fundraiser, hosted in partnership with Over The Edge, inviting 55 supporters to rappel 12 stories down from the roof of Hotel Arista, located in the heart of the CityGate Centre dining and entertainment campus in Naperville, Illinois. Charity Challenge: The Great Descent is a day-long event hosted on May 9th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Hotel Arista. Family, friends, and spectators are invited to come watch and support participants while enjoying music, food, and fun from ground level. As one of only few available opportunities in Illinois to participate in 2026, this unique fundraiser is going to be something to remember for DuPagePads supporters and will demonstrate what is possible when we strive for new heights together! We hope you will join us as one of the 55 brave neighbors stepping off the roof of Hotel Arista and helping to end homelessness here at home!

41st Annual Glen Ellyn Housewalk Presented by Glen Ellyn Infant Welfare Friday, May 15, 2026 Home tours: 10am-2pm and 4pm-8pm Please join us for the Glen Ellyn Housewalk, Glen Ellyn Infant Welfare Society’s largest annual fundraiser. This event showcases four remarkable homes while bringing the community together in support of local children in need. As GEIW celebrates 100 years in 2026, the Housewalk continues a long-standing tradition of giving back to children in our community. Guests will enjoy guided tours at each house, along with complimentary trolley transportation between homes and the downtown Glen Ellyn stop at à la main. All Housewalk proceeds stay right here in our community, funding essential services for children in need such as food, shelter, medical care, and counseling in partnership with 18 local nonprofit agencies. Through these partners, Glen Ellyn Infant Welfare extends the impact of each donation, helping to strengthen many organizations that serve children. Proceeds also provide urgent assistance through local schools and fund two-year scholarships to the College of DuPage for deserving students from Glenbard South and Glenbard West. This year's featured homes are sure to inspire! Tickets are available in advance through the GEIW website and will also be sold at the door on the day of the event.
