They’ll share stories, historic images and artifacts from past Olympic games. This special event is for all ages. The Lake Placid Olympic Museum in New York will be livestreaming at the library. Hegeler Carus Mansion Guided Tour Saturday, February 21st 10:00 A.M. for the first group. If we have more interest we will have additional groups. Please call to be on the list for the guided tour at the Hegeler Carus Mansion. We will be meeting at the Mansion: 1307 7th Street LaSalle, IL. 61301 Up to ten guests are guided through the Main and part of the Ground Floors of the Mansion. You’ll see rooms that have been restored as well as rooms in their original state, including the recently restored parquet floors on the main level. In addition, you’ll also hear stories about the family that lived in the home and the legacy they left. This tour lasts about an hour, and the cost is $18 per adult, $15 per senior/student. Veterans and Active- Duty Military are free of charge. Children under 5 may accompany an adult free of charge.
