Join HAHS for an educational seminar featuring Dr. Temple Grandin, a renowned speaker on autism and animal advocacy. Dr. Grandin will discuss the basics of animal behavior and ways to prevent horses from developing fear memories.   The seminar will be held at the Luecht Auditorium at McHenry County College in Crystal Lake, Illinois, on Tuesday, November 4th, 2025, at 6:00 PM.   Tickets must be purchased in advance and are limited. The seminar ticket is $60 and a special Meet and Greet ticket is available for $25.  The meet and greet begins at 5:30 pm and the seminar begins at 6:00 pm.

The Huntley Area Lions Club presents its 12th Annual Flower Show on Wednesday, November 5th from 7 to 9PM, at the Huntley High School, 13719 Harmony Road, Huntley.  Tickets are $15 at the door.  There will be 3 local florists crafting and creating beautiful floral arrangements in person, The arrangements will be auctioned off to audience members (winners must be present). It is amazing to see these beautiful floral arrangements created in "real time".  All proceeds will support Lions Club projects, including assistance to those with vision and/or hearing impairments.

Luca Ferro is a New York City-based standup comedian from Chicago, IL. He has performed at top-tier comedy clubs all across the country and is frequently seen performing on the Las Vegas strip. He has been the opening act for nationally touring headliners such as Steve Byrne, Adam Ray, and Joe Gatto from ‘Impractical Jokers’. Luca was also hand-selected to be a featured comedian on Nate Bargatze’s ‘NateLand’ presents comedy YouTube series. Luca uses his loud demeanor and vast arsenal of voices and impersonations to express his discomfort with the world around him. Luca is an Italian-American comedian who comes from a blue-collar, south-side Chicago upbringing, and his comedy is reflected as such. “Ben is not a legally blind comedian, he’s a comedian who happens to be legally blind.” A Chicago native, Ben Noble has been featured on many television networks, including NBC, FOX32, HBO, and Comedy Central.
