The SLCERT Basic Training Class is a hands-on program that prepares residents to assist their families and neighbors during emergencies. Participants learn essential skills including disaster preparedness, communication, fire safety, light search and rescue, and basic disaster medical operations.Offered through the SLCERT (South Lake County Community Emergency Response Team) program, this training equips volunteers with the confidence and knowledge to support their community when professional responders are delayed or overwhelmed.  Must register by April 1st.Classes will be held at the Lake Zurich Police Department and Fire Station 1.Friday, April 10th: 6 - 9 p.m.Saturday, April 11th & Sunday, April 12th: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
