General auditions for Mélange and Repertory Dance Companies will be held May 13-14 from 3:45-6 p.m. in Room 2112. Be sure to sign up in advance. Come prepared by learning the audition phrase (released May 8) and creating a strong 45-60 second original solo in jazz or contemporary. Results will be posted the week of May 18th, and all selected dancers are expected to attend a mandatory meeting on May 19. Company placement will take place in August, with dancers cast into either Mélange or Repertory at that time.

The 46th Annual Consortium Artfest is one of the most highly attended events at Stevenson! This event provides all second-semester Stevenson High School art students with the opportunity to display one piece of art. The show also features a curated selection of art pieces from all of our feeder consortium schools.The show can be viewed by all Stevenson students and faculty members during the day from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on May 19 in the Field House. Our evening reception takes place in the Field House from 5 to 8 p.m. and is open to the public.At the reception, we will be selling $5 handmade ceramic art pieces for the "Empty Bowls" charity. All proceeds from our collection go to the Vernon Township Food Pantry.During the reception, students will demonstrate wheel-throwing. We will also have multiple hands-on arts experiences, including button-making, temporary tattoos, caricatures, Art History Jeopardy, and origami, brought to you by our Poster Design Students and our National Art Honor Society.
