This special version of our KPop Demon Hunters Party event is for autistic children or those with sensory processing difficulties who may find our other program overwhelming. Drop in any time between 5 and 6 PM for games, crafts, and Huntrix fun!For preschool age and up with an adult. A Calm Down Area and a few sets of noise-canceling headphones will be available, but we recommend bringing your own headphones if your child is sensitive to sound. Registration is not required, but in an effort to make this program accessible we may limit the number of participants in the room at one time. A study room will be available for quiet activities until the program room is more comfortable for all.

April is National Poetry Month,Each year it happens only once,Please join us to celebrate by submitting your poemThen come read it May 6, don't just stay home!I promise it will be so much funth!Attention all poets! In celebration of National Poetry Month, we're holding an Adult Poetry Contest! Any 18+ individual may submit up to two poems during the month of April. Poems will be read by our judges and winners will be added to a special poetry zine that will be made and distributed at the library! Winners will also be asked to come read their poetry aloud at a special zine release party to be held in the library gardens on the evening of Wednesday, May 6 at 6pm.Adults can submit their poems at the 2nd Floor Information Desk in the library or email them directly to [email protected] interested in sharing their poetry can join the Teen Poetry Contest !

Students will learn new and interesting sewing techniques to bring their sharks to life for use as an I.D. holder for school, or even as a fun way to show off their library cards. It'll be a swimmingly good time, so make sure to sign up early.Program will be in person in the Children's Programming room at 5:00pm. All materials for this program will be provided.This is an in-person ONLY event. Required registration opens March 4th and is limited.
