Visit the New Lenox Village Commons this October to view a trail of scarecrows, each created by a local business or organization. Hosted by the Village of New Lenox and the New Lenox Chamber of Commerce. Scarecrow Stroll is a standing public display in the Commons which will be available for free viewing at any time from October 20 - November 1, 2025. Online registration to participate in this year's Scarecrow Stroll is open now through Sunday, October 5, 2025.   Halloween Fest: Saturday, October 25, 2025 On October 25, 2025, from 9 AM - 11 AM, the New Lenox Chamber will host its annual Halloween Fest in Village Commons. Adults Prior to sitting down in front of the television for Thanksgiving football, get some practice in for yourself in this one-day, double-elimination Flag Football Turkey Tournament. We will play two 20-minute halves with a running click; all players are eligible receivers. This is an 8-on-8 tournament, and each roster can have a maximum of 20 players. Limited spots are available so don't wait to register a team. Prizes will be awarded to the top two teams of the tournament. Check-in begins at 8:00am. In the chance of the tournament being cancelled due to weather conditions, games will be rescheduled to Saturday, November 15.  Registration deadline is Friday, October 17.
