Northbrook School District 28 conducts an early childhood screening each month of the school year. Children birth to 5 years of age who live within the Northbrook District 28 boundaries are eligible. Children ages 3 to 5 will participate in a play-based screening in the areas of cognition, language, fine and gross motor skills, social-emotional functioning, and adaptive skills. Children birth to 2 years, 9 months will participate in a brief screen in the areas of cognition, language, motor, and social-emotional development. Both screenings are by appointment only.
