From May 31st to June 1st, we are celebrating National Dinosaur Day and the 4th Anniversary of Jurassic Gardens!  The FREE round of mini golf is included with the purchase of a regular Jurassic Gardens admission, or our Gold and Platinum Passes! Over the winter we made many improvements and have added even more things to make your adventure memorable and exciting! Our most exciting addition is partnering with Scale World Order to bring you a live reptile exhibit! For this special weekend, they are bringing out their most popular reptiles to play a FREE round of Mini Golf with you! Enter to win a private party for up to 15 people in the Party Barn of the World Famous Volo Museum plus a private LIVE REPTILE SHOW brought to you by our friends at SCALE WORLD ORDER! Winners will be able to invite up to 15 people to a private party room in our Party Barn that includes your own private party host, delicious pizza, soda plus setup and clean up. THE SWEEPSTAKES IS FREE TO ENTER! Participants must be at least 18 years old and only need to enter once. Repeated entries will not be included. Submissions will only be accepted online and not in person. The winner, Volo Museum and Scale World Order, will agree upon a time and date that is possible for all three parties due to the availability of the rooms and the reptiles.  Entries will be accepted until Sunday, June 1st, at 3pm CST. The Illinois Secretary of State's mobile Driver Services unit will be at Wauconda Area Public Library on June 7, 2025. The event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.   Please call the Library at 847-526-6225 to make an appointment. Representatives of the Secretary of State's office will be on-hand to assist with renewing or correcting driver's licenses, converting existing standard driver’s licenses into REAL ID driver’s licenses, obtaining renewed or first time Standard or REAL state IDs, issuing free state IDs for seniors aged 65 or older, and purchasing license plate stickers. Attendees can also register to be an organ donor/tissue donor and register to vote while applying for a driver’s license or identification card. A list of acceptable documents for the issuance of first time ID’s and REAL ID’s can be found at www.ilsos.gov.
