Dear Committee Member, Welcome to the District Strategic Planning Committee! We are so pleased that you have accepted our invitation to help shape the future of our district. We certainly appreciate our parents and community members coming to the table to provide their valuable perspectives; your voice is essential to this process. We are very much looking forward to seeing you at our first meeting this coming Tuesday, February 3rd. As we embark on this journey to create a shared vision for our students and schools, we ask that you simply bring an open mind and your unique ideas. The first night will be a night dedicated to getting to know one another, the uniqueness of our District, understanding the Strategic Planning Process, and learning from all of you what you feel are our strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for growth.   To make the most of our time together, we will stick to the following schedule: 5:30 p.m.: Dinner is served (we will be having pizza and salad) 6:00 p.m.: Meeting and discussion begin 7:30 p.m.: Adjournment We want to be deeply respectful of your time, so we will ensure we are finished promptly by 7:30 p.m. If you have any specific dietary needs or restrictions, please reply to this email or send Candice Rice, District Secretary, at [email protected]. a quick email so we can ensure we have appropriate options available for you.
