Eckhart Mobile Outreach Service (EMOS) deliveries are part of a flexible program that brings library materials to the homes of patrons, educators, and childcare providers. Deliveries are a free service provided by library staff and volunteers to people within DeKalb County.Deliveries occur every other Friday, and we'll pick up your previous materials when we drop off the new ones. To apply, visit epl.lib.in.us/emos.If you are unable to apply online you can also contact us by phone or email:260-925-2414 ext. [email protected] will be asked to fill out a short survey about what kinds of materials you would like to receive from Eckhart Public Library. This form can be printed, filled out in its entirety, and given to the driver. Participants will enjoy singing, creative movement, simple instruments, finger-plays, and more. Each class is designed to be playful and enjoyable to children while providing a carefully planned curriculum that includes developmentally appropriate activities.The class for children ages 0-3 will run from 9:00 - 9:30 am. The early bird hour from 9:00 - 10:00 am will be for Friends of EPL members only. Eckhart Public Library will welcome a Geocaching International Film Festival (GIFF) event to the Assembly Room at the Main Library on Saturday, November 11th. The event runs from 11:30 am - 2:30 pm, with a film reel showcasing the 2025 finalists being shown from 12:00 - 1:45 pm. Geocaching International is celebrating 25 years of geocaching and the community that has been built. The theme for this year's film festival is "TFTC! - Thanks for the Community!"We'll be popping popcorn and handing out door prizes!
