Eckhart Mobile Outreach Service (EMOS) deliveries are part of a flexible program that brings library materials to the homes of patrons, educators, and childcare providers. Deliveries are a free service provided by library staff and volunteers to people within DeKalb County.Deliveries occur every other Friday, and we'll pick up your previous materials when we drop off the new ones. To apply, visit epl.lib.in.us/emos.If you are unable to apply online you can also contact us by phone or email:260-925-2414 ext. [email protected] will be asked to fill out a short survey about what kinds of materials you would like to receive from Eckhart Public Library. This form can be printed, filled out in its entirety, and given to the driver. Teen Dungeons & Dragons has concluded our recent adventure and will be starting a new series of shorter adventures. Have you been interested in playing D&D but didn't know when to start? This new series will be a great time to jump in!Teens in middle and high school are welcome to join regardless of experience, and we have dice and pencils if you don't. Players will help decide what kind of content we do. They'll be able to craft their characters and choose how those characters fit into the world. All of their proceeds go towards supporting the library.The Friends of Eckhart Public Library will hold a book and media sale at the Willennar Administrative Annex on the second Saturday of each month from 9:00 am - 2:30 pm. The early bird hour from 9:00 - 10:00 am will be for Friends of EPL members only. Friends of EPL memberships will be available at the door.Books will be priced at $1.00 for hardcovers and $.50 for paperbacks.This is a wonderful opportunity to get some great deals on books, movies, music, and more--all while supporting the library.
