Studying for finals can be stressful - we get it. Let us make things just a bit easier for you! Stop by the Adult Reference desk to pick up a Study Boost Care Package filled with some study essentials (and some things just for fun!). Care packages will be available on a first-come-first-served basis starting Monday, May 12th and will remain available until all have been claimed! No need to register. One care package per person, please :) Ages 11-19 are eligible.(Not studying this week? No worries. We'll offer care packages again next week, starting on Tuesday, May 20th!)

Calling all gamers! Join us for a new monthly club for gamers in grades 6-12! Level Up will meet on the 2nd Wednesday each month.Come ready to play games like Mario Kart, Super Mario Wonder, Nintendo Switch Sports, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and others on the library's Nintendo Switch. Attendees will decide what games we play. Water and lemonade will be provided, but please bring your own snacks if you want them!Gamers can also bring their own games and consoles with approval from the Teen Librarian, Kath. Summer Reading is finally HERE and this year's theme is Color Our World!And what better way to kick off our Summer Reading fun than by creating some crazy, creative and COLORFUL LEGO builds!  We will be getting out all the LEGOs, the DUPLOs, plus the big blocks for some master building fun and all ages are welcome.  Bring your little brother, your big sister, your cousin, your neighbor, and of course ALL your friends, and build some cool LEGO creations with us!There will be lots of other neat stuff happening, too.  So come late, leave early, you can even pop back and forth.  It's a LEGO OPEN HOUSE for all.  We can't wait to see you there!

Such as...strong opinions about who Rory should've ended up with in Gilmore Girls, a niche historical event you know WAY too much about, or which Pokemon would look the creepiest in real life?We want to hear what you're an expert on! "Stand on a Soapbox" is a blend of a Powerpoint Party and a debate club - you can choose to bring a Powerpoint to share with the group about any topic (keep things appropriate, please), but we'll also do some on-the-spot, silly debates to get your creative juices flowing! If you LOVE to yap, this is the program for you!If you'd like to present a Powerpoint, please email it to [email protected] in advance to be approved. Any presentation format should work - Google Slides, Prezi, Ppt, etc. Please keep presentations to 5 minutes or shorter.Open to ages 11-19, grades 6-12. Registration is required.
