Well, ladies and gentlemen, I'd say we have an actual contest happening after yesterday's vote count in our pumpkin decorating contest!!!! Mr. Cooper's advisory said NOT TODAY to Mrs. Clunie's class and slid right past them into 1st place for 7th grade!!!!!! Mrs. Swarens is still in first place in 6th grade...and.....well.........8th grade............yikes.................still not a single vote :( womp womp....................................Remember, you can vote until Thursday at lunch, so bring that cash in and win your advisory class a spot in next week's kickball tournament, all the while, helping a family this Christmas :) We would like to celebrate all students who passed their classes!  Today, we will call  down 8th grade for their donuts.   We love how hard many of you worked and want to celebrate your success.  We plan to do this every 9 weeks.  If you did not earn it for these 9 weeks, you certainly can for the 2nd 9 weeks.  Keep working hard and doing your best! This week is Red Ribbon Week.  Friday will be Halloween Costume Day.  Please participate and help show that North Harrison Middle School is a drug-free school! Student it's almost that time when the spooks will appear and the halls will be filled with laughter and Halloween Cheer. As you already know Friday will be our Halloween Dress Up Day- while we want you to have fun and enjoy yourselves the day does come with some school guidelines- So here they are…..No FULL face or body paint – you may make a small scar or embellishment, but again NO FULL FACE PAINT or you will be asked to remove it.  No Masks of any kind permitted. No Blow up/ inflatable air Costumes and No Accessories such as wands, fake weapons and such. Thank you in advance for adhering to our Halloween Guidelines. And remember it is better to err on the side of caution, than have to call your  guardian for a change of clothes.    It's the Best Week Ever!!! It's Book Fair Week! Come check it out! There will be a fall dance on November 11th, right after school, until 5:00 p.m.  The dance is for North Harrison Middle School students only.  We do not allow high school students or students from other schools to attend, but bring all your NHMS friends and get your groove on! If you have a birthday in October, please come to the office to pick up your birthday pencil.
