This ACRES preserve is northwest of Rochester. Its 165 acres  feature hardwood forest, pine plantations, and the banks of the Tippecanoe River. The trail is about 1.6 miles, on fairly flat terrain. Nearby Germany Bridge County Park has restrooms and picnic tables. Insect repellant will probably be desirable for this trip. There is a fair amount of up and down on the trail, with a few steep sections. Two other ACRES preserves, Kokiwanee and Hanging Rock, are not far away, as is Salamonie State Forest.
