Global Big Day is an annual celebration of the birds around you. Participating is easy— report your bird observations to eBird online or with Cornell Lab's free eBird Mobile app. If you have more time, submit several checklists of birds throughout the day. You never know what you might spot. To help you get started, Tippecanoe Audubon Society will have representatives at three different sites from 9 AM to 10:30 AM to show you how to use the mobile app Merlin to ID birds and record sightings on eBird.   The locations of the TAS representatives are: Baker Wood near Silver Lake (private location, contact Steve at 765-833-7793 to RSVP) Pike Lake Boardwalk - meet at Beyer Farm Trail trailhead parking (google maps: 752C+75 Warsaw, Indiana) Pisgah Marsh Boardwalk, which is located on the east side of the Pisgah Marsh Nature Preserve. Access is off of Indiana State Road 5, via Whitley Co. county road W 850 N. (google maps: 78QX+C2 North Webster, Indiana) Wherever you are that day, we encourage you to report any and all bird sightings on eBird.
