Iowa residents can try fishing without buying a license on June 6, 7 and 8 as part of the Iowa Department of Natural Resources’ (DNR) free fishing weekend. All other regulations remain in place.Share the fun of fishing during free fishing weekend June 6-8

Come learn about fishing pole care/maintenance, fish identification, fish regulations, water safety, and other basic fishing instructions. Cops N' Bobbers was created to help bring law enforcement agencies together with the community they serve. This is a great opportunity to break down barriers and get to know your local law enforcement officers.
