Youth & Teen Get creative and bring your favorite stories to life - Peeps style! Enter our Peeps Diorama Contest and turn those sugary treats into the stars of your very own shoe-box-sized scene come to life! Can either pick up entry forms at the Youth Department desk or complete online Google Form. Theme: Choose any book, movie, TV show, or music inspiration and recreate it with Peeps as the stars! Categories: Childrenâs Category (ages 12 and under) Teen Category (ages 13-18) Family Category (Guardian/Children teams) Guidelines: All âcharactersâ in your diorama must be Peeps. Be creative! They can be printed, drawn, made of plastic, or anything you come up with, as long as they resemble PEEPS! Cardboard boxes available while supplies last. 2 PEEPS provided per entry. Can pick up at the youth desk. You must purchase all other supplies. Dioramas should fit inside a cardboard box roughly the size of a shoebox. Cannot be larger than 18"x18"x18". Entry Drop-Off: We will begin accepting your completed diorama and entry form at the Youth Department desk on March 22 and will stop accepting entries on March 28 at 5PM.  Judging and Display: Dioramas will be on display in the Youth Department from March 29 to April 4 for public voting Winners will be announced on April 6, 2025! The Summer Reading Theme for this summer will be Plant a Seed, Read! We challenge you to create a bookmark that captures that theme.  Your bookmark must be between 2.5"x5" - 2.5"-8".  The submissions can be sent to us physically via the school van or in person, or participants can submit their design virtually by emailing it to [email protected]. If they do submit it virtually, the preferred file formats are .png or .jpg, but PDFs are acceptable as well.  Submit your design by April 30th and the winning design will be chosen in early May. The winner will receive a certificate and their design will be featured on bookmarks for our Summer Library Program.
