Bill Quackenbush, Tribal Historic Preservation Officer of the Ho-Chunk Nation, will be at the park speaking on the origin, history, and use of courting flutes and how they play an important part within Ho-Chunk culture. How the courting flute first came to be known, along with its importance, is relayed through the oral history of the Ho-Chunk, which will be shared.
