Adult Art Night features the Japanese art of Kinusaiga in September.  Participants will create mosaic-like pictures using fabric scraps which are pressed into foam to create a “quilted” picture.  No sewing is required!  Come learn more about this neat type of art with the Tonganoxie Arts Council.

Farmers Market

The Farmers Market is right outside the library in our parking lot.  Shop at a variety of vendors find fresh goods check out local food trucks.  So much in store throughout the growing season! Runs weekly into October.

Join us for Friday morning fun with Storytime!  Geared towards children up to 5 years old.

Open Puzzle Time

Stop in on Friday afternoons for the relaxing activity of puzzles. We’ll have one laid out each week, and it’s open for anyone to work on.

Our September meeting will focus on all kinds of burials…some you might not even know about! We will have Kylie Wheeler, Advance Planning Specialist with Warren-McElwain Mortuary, as our guest. Join an international phenomenon!  At a Death Café people gather to eat, drink tea and discuss death.  You’ll find an inviting and lively discussion of death with no set agenda, which can lead to quite interesting conversations. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counseling session.
