Debby McKee has been active with the Topeka Audubon Society for many years. Sheis past President and is currently serving as Secretary of the board.Debby loves watching birds, hearing birds, thinking about birds, and talking aboutbirds. She has logged birding records since 1994. Things kicked up a notch when, in2007, Debby acquired an iPod and eBird started. This revolutionized her scope ofbirding. Year, county, and Kansas listing is her primary focus of birding now. Sheenjoys the numbers games and chasing rarities throughout the state.She has always dreamed of birding in exotic places and Costa Rica was at the top ofthe list. In September 2023, along with five close friends, her dream finally came true.Join Debby and her friends for Toucans and Howler Monkeys as they explore amongthe lush vegetation of jungle streams. Marvel at the Resplendent Quetzal high in themist shrouded mountain cloud forest.
