Join us for "Once Upon a Phonics Friday," a fun and interactive library program designed to help young readers build strong literacy skills through the joy of storytelling and phonics play! Each session features engaging read-alouds, playful phonics games, songs, and hands-on activities that focus on letter sounds, word families, and early reading strategies. Perfect for preschool and early elementary children, this program supports foundational reading skills while nurturing a lifelong love of books. All aboard for a delightful morning of holiday fun! Put on your coziest pajamas, and join us for a special reading of The Polar Express! Enjoy hot cocoa and snacks, followed by train-themed crafts and activities that are sure to delight young conductors.  And keep an eye out... Santa might make a surprise appearance!  Bring your own lunch and stick around after the program for a train stop lunch break! You are welcome to eat with fellow travelers at our indoor station tables. Please call ahead to register so that we save your spot on the Story Train Express!
