This month we are reading Beaverland: How One Weird Rodent Made America by Leila Philip. Our discussion will center on the book and what we can learn about and from these amazing animals. This month we are reading Beaverland: How One Weird Rodent Made America by Leila Philip. Our discussion will center on the book and what we can learn about and from these amazing animals. Each month will focus on a different broad topic (like healthy ecosystem function or native plant management). Discussions will be guided by an expert guest presenter or a chosen book. Participants will receive two to four emails per month with invitations to the monthly sessions, background information on topics and speakers, links to further learning resources and media recommendations, as well as opportunities to provide program feedback.
