A celebration of our mid-coast lobstering families and working waterfrontBands To Be AnnouncedPlus booth exhibits, food trucks, Mast Landing Brewery, raffles and more!  Follow their Facebook page for event updates and ticket  information. ‘Our goal is not only to raise money, but also awareness of our working waterfront and what it means to Maine as a whole’. Maine Lobster Community Alliance, also known as MLCA, is the 501c3 partner organization of the Maine Lobstermen’s Association. MLCA achieves its charitable mission through programs in education, research, and charity. We also support efforts of the Maine Lobstermen’s Association to preserve the lobster industry for the next generation of Maine lobstermen by investing in scientific research that will aid efforts to further sustainability and preservation of our fishing heritage. Sponsors and donors to the MLCA can be proud that proceeds from events such as Music, Masts & Lobster Traps are directly invested in efforts that benefit Maine lobstermen, their families, and our fishing communities. ‘MLCA, which is the proud recipient of a past grant from the McEvoy Foundation, recently teamed up with other waterfront industry partners to create the Working Waterfront Support Fund. We recently announced a $10,000 donation to that fund to help fishermen, local businesses, and communities who were impacted by the devastating storms and historic flooding in January 2023. The purpose of that fund is to provide some immediate funding to help those impacted get back up and running before the fishing season starts in a few months – and before state and federal aid that we hope will be coming is able to begin getting where it needs to go most. We recently partnered with those other organizations to conduct a survey of the most pressing needs’. *Regular museum hours and admission will be offered to all who wish to visit the museum exhibits and ride the train.  Museum admission will also include access to booth exhibits.  A separate ticket will be required for the live music

The Bridges of Madison County is a stage adaptation inspired by Robert James Waller’s novel The Bridges of Madison County. The story follows the unexpected meeting between Francesca Johnson, an Italian woman living on a quiet Iowa farm, and Robert Kincaid, a National Geographic photographer who arrives in Madison County to photograph its famous covered bridges. Our theatrical adaptation focuses on the intimacy of the two characters and the emotional power of their encounter. The staging is intention simple, an poetic, placing the actors and the storytelling at the center, allowing the audience to fully experience the depth and humanity of this timeless story.
