About Us
Westbrook Communities that Care (WCTC) is a community coalition whose mission is to prevent youth substance use. WCTC provides adults with information and tools to support young people in making healthy choices. WCTC provides workshops and skill-building trainings for all coalition members, introducing them to cutting-edge tools, up-to-date information and best practices. Coalition members are the driving force in determining how to customize strategies geared to the strengths and challenges here in Westbrook. Effective strategies can be as simple as providing monthly tips for parents on how to talk to their kids about drugs. Westbrook has a remarkably committed group of adults working to make a positive impact on young people in the community. We invite you to join us!
