As part of Winter Reading 2026, Harford County Public Library invites customers to make a Holiday Recipe Flip Book on December 20 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at the Havre de Grace Library, 120 North Union Avenue. The Library’s customers have shared their favorite holiday recipes. Now it’s your turn to choose the ones you’d like to try and create your very own festive recipe flip book. The program is geared for those in grade 6 to adult, and advanced registration is required at https://programs.hcplonline.org/event/14735970. The program is supported by the Havre de Grace Friends of HCPL.

After a nourishing lunch, we’ll move into art therapy, allowing creativity to guide expression and emotional release. The afternoon continues with a group empowerment activity, (listed with dates) designed to reconnect you with your inner strength and resilience. We’ll close the day in peaceful reflection with the soothing vibrations of crystal bowls and sound healing, helping you integrate the day’s experiences and leave feeling grounded, renewed, and empowered. Whether you’re seeking healing, clarity, or simply space to reconnect with yourself, this retreat offers a sacred space to begin your journey. You can register for one day, or as many days as you would like. This retreat is priced per person, per day. No horse experience necessary.
