Join us for a Campfire Program on the history and layout of Washington, DC! Come and learn about the special events happening in the city and the region around our countries 250th birthday! This is the perfect program for individuals visiting the city for the first time. Open to all visitors and campers, program begins at 7:00 PM at the Campfire Circle in Loop B at Greenbelt Park, 6565 Greenbelt Road, Greenbelt, MD 20770.

Maintenance Volunteer Event

Come complete maintenance projects at Greenbelt Park! Meet NPS rangers at the Sweetgum Picnic Area at 9:00 AM for a safety debrief all equipment will be provided but please wear long sleeves pants close-toed shoes and bring water with you.

Talking about the history of Greenbelt, the flora and fauna offered by the park, and how important our National Parks are to both our national and local ecological resources. The hike is weather permitting, and make sure to bring appropriate footwear and clothing for the climate.
