Join us for our Community Baby Shower Resource Distribution, hosted by Your Infinite Paths Foundation at the All American Steakhouse. This welcoming event is designed to support expecting parents and families with young children by providing essential baby items, community resources, and a caring space to connect. Families can expect to receive diapers, wipes, clothing, and other newborn necessities while learning about supportive services available in our community. Together, we are celebrating new beginnings, strengthening families, and ensuring every child has a healthy, supported start. We are actively seeking Sponsors, Dropbox hosts, and volunteers, and additional entities to table for the community

It's time to get off the side lines and onto the field!  Special Olympics Maryland - Charles County will be hosting athletes from various counties within Maryland to compete in swimming, bocce, and track & field events on Saturday, 6 May at Henry E. Lackey High School. To ensure the events success WE NEED YOU as a Special Olympics Maryland volunteer where you'll have the opportunity to lend your time and talents to support the athletes and Unified Teammates of Special Olympics Maryland - Charles County!   Volunteers come from across the state and from all walks of life to support our athletes.  From high school and college students, to professionals and retired individuals, over 6,000 people have found their place in our many programs.  Whether you are looking for a one-time experience, a group volunteer opportunity, or something more consistent and long-term, Special Olympics Maryland will provide a fulfilling experience for all involved! Get ready for the new school year with Commissioner Amanda M. Stewart, Ed.D. (District 3) at her 11th annual "Back-to-School" Community Fiesta on Saturday, Aug. 9, beginning at 10 a.m. in the parking lot of the future location of the Waldorf Sports and Wellness Complex parking lot (11170 Mall Circle, Waldorf, MD 20603). Pre-K through 12th-grade students who attend a Charles County school will receive a backpack filled with back-to-school materials while supplies last.
