Red Ribbon Week is also this month! The theme this year is “Life’s a Puzzle, Solve It Drug Free.” We will celebrate October 27 – 30. Please see our spirit days below! During Red Ribbon Week, students will learn facts about staying healthy and drug free on the morning announcements. Students will also take a pledge to remain Drug Free. Monday 10/27: Piece It Together – Wear RED to kick off Red Ribbon week Tuesday 10/28: Team up Tuesday – Wear your favorite sports team’s color or jersey to show that working together helps us solve life’s puzzles Wednesday 10/29: Put the Pieces in Place – Dress up as your future career to show how your future goals are such an important piece of the puzzle Thursday 10/30: Being Drug Free is No Sweat – Wear sweatshirts and sweatpants

Parents are welcome to attend this outdoor event and may stand anywhere along the outside route but should remain a few feet away from the passing students. The “Thriller” dance will occur on the hardcourt following the costume parade. All students will watch the performance from the hard court. Visitors are welcome to attend the Thriller dance but must stand outside the hardcourt fence.   The outdoor parade is weather dependent. Should the weather become inclement, the parade and Thriller will be moved indoors. Unfortunately, the ONLY visitors we are allowing indoors will be parents/guardians of fifth grade students.  Students will have only a short time to put on any costume items. Consider sending them with a costume that they can put on themselves or with minimal help.
