Monday March 9 through Sunday May 10, 2025.Â Hawk Watch at Adams Farm. The daily watches will be dictated by what Mother Nature gives us in the form of weather; and as we navigate thru the fronts, Iâll do my best to make timely decisions in that regard and communicate to watchers via email of changes in the daily watch schedule.Â The last thing I want is somebody traveling an hour. and there is no watch for the day. If we receive heavy snowfall, we may need to do a little manual labor to shovel out the observation area in order to conduct the watch. Some friendly reminders: â˘Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â The observation area is adjacent to the parking lot between the curb and the fence looking to the west. Parking is somewhat limited. Please try to carpool if possible to ensure adequate parking for the Adams Farm business customers. â˘Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â All observers need to be aware that we occasionally need to make way momentarily for trucks entering or other business activities.Â â˘Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Bring plenty of warm clothes, mittens, masks, etc. as you will be exposed to cold, windy conditions. â˘Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Adams Farm has procured a Port-a-Pot for our use.Â As well there are restrooms at Mikeâs Convenience store just down the hill on Rt.2a. â˘Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â The Adams Farm store has a fine selection of sandwiches, pasta salads, and drinks and snacks if you have forgotten your lunch (and will appreciate your business as well!).Â There is also a Market Basket, Dunkinâ Donuts, and a pizza joint nearbyÂ If you are interested in participating this spring, here is the contact information.Â If you are unsure on days with weather predicted and no announcements are made, just contact me or Eric to get the latest scoop, Mark MorrisÂ 978-868-6354Â [email protected] Eric MuellerÂ 978-337-9150Â [email protected] Â
