Come join us  for an exciting theater class where we will make friends, build our confidence, and expand our imagination by performing together!   Share some laughs as we play drama-themed "warm ups" and games, and then cheer each other on as we create an acting scene together!   All participants of this drama workshop will receive a free book* as our gift to you so we can celebrate the art of imagination and creative dramatics! April is Poetry Month!  Help celebrate by creating and submitting a Luck Poem for a chance to win a gift card!   A luck poem consists of :  a 7 letter title, 7 lines per poem, and 7 words per line.   (So each poem has 49 words and a 7 letter title) Here is an example by the creator of Luck Poetry, Billerica's very own William Libby Firefly A million tiny lights in the sky Mixing with the cosmos, dancing and swaying Singing the most beautiful song without words. What are English At Large conversation groups? Our conversation groups are groups of 8-12 learners who meet weekly to practice their English speaking skills. Our groups provide an opportunity for learners to improve their speaking confidence and meet other people adults who are learning English. Topics usually covered in conversation groups include American culture and holidays, idioms, casual spoken English, and daily life situations (the bank, the post office, speaking with neighbors, etc.).
