Girls on the Run (GOTR) is an after-school program that inspires girls to recognize and embrace their inner strength. Each practice includes a lesson focused on building social, emotional, and physical skills, paired with fun activities. The season ends with a celebratory 5K run with other GOTR teams from the Greater Boston area. Who? Open to students in grades 3â5. Enrollment is limited to 20 runners per season. When? GOTR is offered in both the fall and spring. Registration opens a few weeks before the season begins. Practices are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:45-4 PM, for 10 weeks.
