Boston Public Library's Hygge Kits invite you to get cozy this winter. Hygge (pronounced "hoo-gah") is a Danish word for a calm, comfortable time with people you love. It's often enjoyed with good food, warm drinks, blankets, and candles. Our Hygge Kits are here to help you get started with hygge and get cozy.  Supplies are limited — one bag per person present at the library. Kits are first-come, first-served.

Join us twice a month for a drop-in program for artists ages 14+ to draw in their sketchbooks, exchange art ideas, and network with other local creatives.  These sessions are designed to encourage consistency in art-making, foster creative community, and provide a welcoming space for focused, inspired work. Artists should bring their own materials to create in a relaxed, focused environment. Light music will be played, and optional creative prompts may be offered for inspiration.
