Many places, like New England, are experiencing extended dry periods and then suddenly a 1-in-1000-year flood. Examine the science of climate change and why it is driving both wetter and drier conditions. Explore how the climate is changing in New England and what the future holds. Join us for an evening of music outdoors! Feel free to bring dinner and the family for a memorable experience. All concerts take place at the Gazebo at the playground end of Town Field behind the library. Arrive early as parking is at a premium!  Les Sampou is a Boston-based singer, songwriter, and producer. A Rounder Records recording artist, Les has toured internationally for over two decades and has been invited on such stages as SXSW, Montreal Jazz Fest, Philadelphia Folk Fest and Toronto Blues Fest. Songs from her seven albums have been played around the world. A powerful, emotional vocalist, Les has been chosen as the critical support act for such legends as Aretha Franklin, Richard Thompson, Nancy & Ann Wilson, Pat Benatar, Johnny Lang, and Sugarland. Les now turns her attention to singing jazz in the style of the great vocalists of the past: Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, and Peggy Lee to name a few from her repertoire of hundreds of originals, hits and American Songbook compositions. The Dirty Martinis feature some of the area’s most sought after musicians, including the band’s co-founder, composer/pianists Edward Grenga. Ed is a composer/arranger, pianist who began his musical career as a full-time touring musician at the age of seventeen. Since then, Ed has scored dozens of feature films, documentaries and TV shows including Frontline, Nova, History channel, Discovery, Married with Children, and This Old house. On standup Bass is Justin Meyer. Justin earned a Master's Degree from the Longy School of Music, where he studied with Charlie Binacos.
